Bayer Advantix “Flea, tick and mosquito Repellent” for Dogs up to 4 kg

Advantix® for dogs weighing up to 4 kg for protection against fleas, ixodid ticks and flying insects and diseases carried by them.

Advantix® is a product from Elanco that helps protect your dog before it bites from the most common representatives of the ixodid mites genus, from fleas and annoying mosquitoes, mosquitoes and flies – carriers of dangerous diseases, as well as allergic reactions to their bite. Protects up to 4 weeks.

Indications:
To kill a wide range of insects that parasitize dogs, in particular fleas, ixodes mites, as well as flying insects.

Pharmacological action:
Imidacloprid and permethrin contained in the drug, having a synergistic effect, have a pronounced insecticidal, acaricidal and repellent effect. Advantix® is effective against imaginal and preimaginal and larval development phases of fleas (Ctenocephalides canis, Ctenocephalides felis), fleas (Trichodectes canis), Ixodes ticks (Rhipicephalus sanguineus and Ixodes ricinus, Dermacentor reticulatus) parasitizing on dogs, provides protection against mosquitoes (Aedes aegypti, Culex pipiens), flies (Stomoxys calcitrans) and mosquitoes
(Phlebotomus papatasi, Phlebotomus perniciosus). It reduces the risk of possible transmission to animals of transmissible diseases such as: borreliosis, rickettsiosis, leishmaniasis, as well as pathogen of canine ehrlichiosis (Ehrlichia canis), etc.

• Permethrin blocks transmission of nerve impulses, which causes movement coordination disorder, paralysis and death of ectoparasites.
• Imidacloprid interacts with acetylcholine receptors of arthropods and is involved in disruption of nerve impulse transmission.

Acting as an activator of arthropod nerve node, imidacloprid also enhances insectoacaricidal effect of permethrin.
After use of Advantix® its active ingredients, practically not absorbed into the systemic bloodstream, are quickly distributed over the body surface and, remaining on the epidermis and hair, have long (up to 4 weeks) contact insectoaricidal and repellent effect.
